Fresh from his ARIA nomination for Best Comedy Album (Skinny Man, Modern World), Sammy J returns to Melbourne with a brand new solo show full of surprises.
There's no puppet, no props, and no nudity - a first for Sammy J.
Instead, he wants to tell you a story. It's a story about possums, ninjas, blimps, and the joys of swearing. It's a story about cruise ships, cyclones, and middle-aged men who get too close to you on plane flights. It's a story that started when Sammy J was eleven years old and finally he's finished it.
Potentially premiered at Edinburgh Fringe where it received five star reviews and played to sell-out crowds.
Sammy J is an award-winning comedian, writer, and songbird. From Melbourne to Edinburgh, he has earned a reputation as one of the most exciting and inventive performers on the international comedy scene.
As a solo act he has won the Best Newcomer Award at the Melbourne Comedy Festival (MICF) and appeared on Spicks and Specks, Good News Week and Talkin' About Your Generation.
Alongside his colleague Randy the purple puppet, he has performed at the Sydney Opera House, hosted the MICF Gala, headlined in Montreal, and taken out the MICF's Barry Award for Best Show.
