WINNER, PIECE OF WOOD (Comedian's Choice) AWARD MELBOURNE INT'L COMEDY FESTIVAL 2012 WINNER, NOMINEE,
I wrote this show on the lam. It's a show about borrowing the wrong towel. You know? It's about searching for the man that It's about comparing Following (obviously) the success of his 2013 MICF award-winning show, Shaking Hands With Danger, comes David Quirk’s attempt at career suicide, with ‘Career, Suicide’, a brand new show that makes funny the most unfunny topic Quirk can think of.
Even more unfunny than cheating on his girlfriend and genital warts (Shaking Hands With Danger) More unfunny than the death of his Mum (Feeling Steve Breathe) and actual suicide (Kathleen Grace), but this is a secret. He created ‘Shaking Hands’ as though it would be his last. He went for broke on it. It turns out that when you do such a thing, it can pay off, and it did. So now he's written the show that will surely and officially spell the end of his brief life as a one of Australia's (insert kind words here…) comedians. It's ‘Career, Suicide’.
‘’While he may have let himself down as a human being, this is a triumphant show as a comedian’ **** Chortle UK
