Laughing Stock Productions PresentsFelicity Ward's Ugly As a Child Variety ShowAre you ready to laugh yourself ugly?
Winner - Melbourne Airport Award for Outstanding Newcomer, 2008 Melbourne Fringe Straight from her critical and commercial success at the 2008 Melbourne Fringe, one of Melbourne’s most talked about emerging female performers, Felicity Ward, is finally making her MICF solo debut with a new season of her award-winning show – Felicity Ward’s Ugly As A Child Variety Show. You may have heard Felicity as the host of ABC Radio’s The Comedy Hour, or seen her on TV as the 6 year old school girl Poppy on Network Ten's sketch show The Ronnie Johns Half Hour, or enjoyed her appearances on the ABC’s Spicks and Specks. One thing is for sure… if you haven’t come across Felicity Ward yet – make it a priority this comedy festival. Felicity was ugly as a child. She had a pan toilet until she was eleven. She had a BETA video player until 1993. Her mum gave her carob instead of chocolate at Easter (Dirty hippy!). Felicity Ward’s Ugly As A Child Variety Show is directed by Alan Brough. Felicity thinks you should get to know more about her; through standup, characters, songs and electrocution-style trivia games. Watch this car accident of a person try to let you into her brain.
